Mid-Century Modern Daum Crystal Star Bowl

About the Item

This refined and sculptural translucent glass bowl was produced by Daum, one of the most illustrious glass makers of the period in Nancy, France, circa 1950. Daum was awarded a Grand Prix during the 1900, Universal Exhibition for their exquisite glass pieces. The piece features with its unmistakably modern form, this piece is a testament Daum's forward looking vision and superior glass making techniques that have made them one of the most indelible names of the 20th century in first-rate glass. It is signed "Daum France" and is in excellent condition.
