About the Item

Rare Rene Lalique clear glass square Perles Wall panel 1930. As well as the usual Vases, Bowls, tableware, car mascots etc Rene Lalique made Architectural Installations -some of the more famous of these went into Churches, but he designed a wide range of glass panels for rooms, walls, tables etc. These were not for sale as individual items and could only be acquired as part of an installation. This is a Documented Carres Perles pattern 'Cloison' or wall panel. The fact that it is an unused single panel and signed (they were usually not signed) suggests this was a salesman's sample. It is Documented in the Lalique book by Marcilhac under 'Grilles, Dalles et Panneaux de Cloisonnements' No13 Page 882 (black edition). An interesting collectors items for any collection it also makes an excellent stand and could easily be included in a a light fitment.
