Vintage Steuben Glass "Handkerchief" Vase Designed by Donald Pollard

About the Item

Vintage Steuben Glass "Handkerchief" Vase, Corning, NY. 8 7/8" h. Base signed. The vase uses Steuben founder Frederick Carder's technique so the curves of the vase "suggest the folds of a handkerchief plucked from a pocket". Since each is hand formed, no 2 are exactly alike. One owner, very good condition. The little 5.5" version is for sale new on Steuben's site for $625. This size discontinued. 8 7/8" h. x 8 7/8" x 8.5". Whitehall Antiques is a family business that has been a major source for the selective buyer for over 90 years. We are one the finest antiques shop in the South and Mid-Atlantic, proclaimed the “Best Antiques Shop in the Mid-Atlantic” by Mid-Atlantic Antiques Magazine.
