French Vintage Iridescent Art Nouveau Ceramic Jug by Alphonse Cytere, 1910

A 20th century French vintage collectible pitcher or jug of circular shape crafted in a green iridescent color, France, 1910. Signed at reverse Alphonse Cytère, a notable ceramist who invented the metallic effect on ceramic. 1903 Alphonse Cytere set up an art pottery studio in Rambervillers which has been specialized in unusual and iridescent glazes on organic forms. The pieces produced has been designed by prestigious artists of the Ecole de Nancy (Bussiere, Gruber, Jeandelle, Majorelle for example). All our pieces are expertly restored at our atelier and we only offer items that will last another lifetime. Our 350 square meter workspace includes a luminous gallery, a restoration atelier where our expert artisans in metalwork, woodwork, upholstery, and electrics; restore each piece with the mission to honor a balance between restoration and preservation. There may be light age-related wear but no hard damages or structural issues.? Since the launch of our gallery in late 2017, we have exported over 280 items to buyers in 21 countries located in all four corners of the world from Europe and North America to Asia and Australia.  In the United-States alone, we have ensured the delivery of over 150 pieces of all sizes (from massive dining tables to small decorative objects) in 23 states.  We take the utmost attention to our packaging by building robust made to measure boxes in our atelier with the aim of providing safe and cost-effective delivery prices for every client. Most deliveries arrive smoothly in less than 8 days. We are located both in Paris and Rabat. FYI the Morocco Free Trade Agreement (MAFTA) went into effect on January 1, 2006. Under the agreement, most Moroccan goods enter the United States duty-free.?

This Italian design serveware ceramic set of three pottery items is composed of a jug, a pitcher and a little sweets bowl or tray. The set dating back to 1930s was created by Lenci manufacture, established in Turin in 1919. The matte ivory beige background is enriched with floral patterns throughout both on the body and on handles of these gorgeous vessel group. The flowers' decoration is rendered in a soft palette of colors with different shades of yellow, orange and pink outlined with a black contour line along the flower's decoration edges. The all purpose carafe has a long neck and an awesome Amphora shape, the pot-bellied decanter bottle has a nice molded nozzle while the round shaped tray has a pleasant curly handle. These objects of everyday use have simple clear lines and modernist forms, perfect as a table set for wine or water. The little bowl could be used as a sweet tray, sugar bowl or candleholder. These ceramics are ready to embellish your dining table or to be displayed in a vitrine cabinet or as a centrepiece on a sideboard. Stamped with Lenci made in Italy mark and original manufacturer label.
