Le Volte Celesti è una collezione di piatti e complementi d'arredo progettata dal designer Vito Nesta. La digitalizzazione di alcuni dei disegni presenti all'interno del ricchissimo archivio della Veneranda Fabbrica ha permesso la realizzazione di una serie di prodotti, dimostrando che la bellezza che custodisce l’archivio non è solo appannaggio di studiosi e ricercatori, ma può essere fruita da tutti nelle forme più svariate. I protagonisti in questa collezione sono i disegni di Paolo Cesa Bianchi che mostrano uno dei progetti più incredibili mai proposti: la sua idea di portare il cielo dentro al Duomo, decorando le volte della cattedrale con un fondo blu arricchito da stelle d’oro. Il lavoro fatto su di essi ha creato una collezione unica e estremamente elegante, dal facile utilizzo e dal forte impatto visivo.
Parte del ricavato delle vendite di queste collezioni contribuirà alla restaurazione delle guglie del Duomo.

Vito Nesta Grand Tour
Vito Nesta is a designer who graduted in Interior Design in Florence; although originally from Puglia, he lives and works in Milan.
Designer, art director, interior decorator and artisan, he's driven by his attraction to foreign culture, using his travels as a persistent form of inspiration. His creative thoughts are expressed through projects of graphic and product design, interior decor, photography and painting.
