About the Item

Set of ten French porcelain plates by Creil et Montereau, dating to the mid-19th century and featuring transfer-printed scenes with hand-coloring. Each plate is framed with a border of laurels and red ribbon and depicts events or figures associated with the July Monarchy, including F.P. Duc d’Orléans, Prince Royal. Marked on reverse with the Creil et Montereau stamp used around 1834–1839.
