A series of magnificent rare plates “Sulamith: Songs of Love”, by the wonderful artist Sulamith Wulfing, 1901 - 1989. In 1993-1994 They are listed in the Bradex catalog under their own number.
Diameter 7.6 inc (19.5 cm).
There are holes for suspension on the plates at the back.

Sulamith Wulfing was born in Germany in 1901, at the dawn of the new century. She started drawing very early - at 4 years old, from childhood Sulamith breathed the air of faith in the immortality of the soul and the high meaningfulness of our being. All this was reflected in her drawings. The heroes of these drawings, at first glance, are women, children, angels, flowers, fairy-tale characters. But if you look closely, in these beautiful images we see only symbols of the images of others: the heroes of Shulamith’s drawings are light (and the external fire visible to the eye, the glow that accelerates darkness, and the inner spiritual light that pervades being), soul, love, motherhood , tenderness, anxiety for loved ones, for the soul falling into the shadow of darkness, the sacrament, sadness, and sometimes grief. Shulamif is strong and the theme of the guardians who protect us on the earth’s path, send signs at the crossroads, help our recollection of ourselves, self-understanding and the search for our place in this world.
