The body of this large antique Georgian silver mustard pot is plain and unembellished, with an applied bead decorated border to the upper and lower rims.
This fine mustard pot is fitted with a hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with a cast pierced decorated thumbpiece.
The mustard pot is fitted with an impressive cast silver C shaped handle, with a plain pendant drop design to the upper portion.
The mustard pot retains the original removable blue glass liner.
This antique silver mustard pot is supplied with an associate sterling silver Old English bead pattern spoon, crafted by Solomon Hougham in 1799.
This exceptional mustard pot, crafted by the renowned Newcastle silversmiths John Langlands I & John Robertson I, is a large example for its type.
