About the Item

A small sterling silver jardinière, design #296C by Georg Jensen, dating back to 1919. This handcrafted oval bowl features four exquisitely detailed hanging grape clusters serving as handles. Each cluster, meticulously crafted, comprises three grapes suspended from a hand-chased branch. The oval base, which showcases the highest level of craftsmanship, is adorned with a repoussé technique that creates intricate hand-chased details, including a grapevine with thirteen grape clusters connected by branches. Specifications: Dimensions: 7 3/4″ x 5 5/8″ x 2 7/8″ (19.6cm x 14.2cm x 7.2cm) Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from the 1930’s, sterling Denmark. This piece is the smallest of the three designs. All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
