A fine large serving spoon. By Gorham. In the Buttercup pattern. We think that this a rare solid oyster spoon. With a shaped bowl and thick gauged handle. Fully hallmarked to the reverse. Patented in 1900. Simply a wonderful, hard to find serving piece! Date: 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. There is some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Gorham Co.
