A fine and impressive antique Georgian Newcastle sterling silver teapot stand made by John Langlands I & John Robertson I; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection This fine and impressive antique Georgian sterling silver teapot stand has an oval serpentine-shaped form. The surface of this fine example of Newcastle silverware is plain and unembellished. The gallery border is ornamented with embossed and engraved pales and floral motifs, in addition to an applied bead decorated border to the shaped rim. This impressive antique silver teapot stand is supported by for impressive cast sterling silver ball and claw style feet. This fine stand was crafted by the renowned and collectable Newcastle silversmiths John Langlands I & John Robertson I. Condition This antique silver teapot stand is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the stand are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
