About the Item
This majolica pottery plate collection was designed by Mexican sculptor, painter and ceramist Lorenzo Lorenzzo — made in his studio, in the colonial town of San Miguel de Allende, in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. For this limited edition collection of 306 plates, Lorenzo uses vivid colors with warm details bringing light to his pieces.
“Take the risk to experiment,” says Lorenzo, who creates this set of plates to expose his emotions.
It was seven in the morning when he ran to his studio after a night of insomnia, stimulated by the nature surrounding it and by his desire to suddenly experiment.
Inspired by the colors in nature during the early morning, Lorenzo designs these charming pieces. Like the first delicate ray of light in your room, these plates will make your house feel like home, whether it is for the table or a simple decorative detail.
Used as a serving platter or wall decoration, these set of plates will brighten the space.
