Roland Brice glazed ceramic plate 1950

About the Item

This colourful glazed ceramic round plate was designed and produced by Roland Brice in the 1950s in his workshop in Biot, a small city near Vallauris in the south of France. Roland Brice was the former student of Fernand Léger. He became his close friend and his ceramist from 1949, producing lots of art pieces in his Biot workshop until the end of the 1960s, while exploring creations of his own, inspired by Fernand Léger’s work.
