About the Item
Elegant five-piece French silver-plated tea and coffee service from the Art Deco Period. The set includes a coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl with lid, milk jug, and a large oval tray with wooden handles. Each piece features a striking contrast between ribbed lower sections and smooth polished upper areas, expressing the bold lines and balance typical of French Art Deco design.
Marked “801” and bearing additional maker’s and quality stamps. The sculptural forms, combined with warm wooden details, make this set as decorative as it is functional.
The tray shows some light surface scratches consistent with use, but the overall condition of the set is very good and well-preserved.
