An exceptional, fine and impressive antique German silver teapot; an addition to our silver teaware collection This exceptional antique German silver teapot has a circular incurved baluster form. The surface of this antique 19th century teapot is plain and unembellished, with an impressive chased leaf decorated border to the shoulders. This impressive example of silver teaware is fitted with the original push fit cover, surmounted with a large and impressive cast silver finial realistically modelled in the form of a stag couchant. The teapot retains the original stained wood handle fitted to impressive embossed silver sockets incorporating scroll decoration, in addition to an antique dolphin design to the upper portion. This fine teapot is fitted with an impressive cast silver figural swan necked spout. The German hallmarks struck to the underside of the teapot include: Maker's mark: Breyman City mark: Dresden (crossed swords and D, used from the early 18th-late 19th century) Condition This antique German silver teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The cast, chased and embossed decoration is all very sharp. The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. The German hallmarks struck to the underside of the foot are all very clear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of antique teaware. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver bachelor teapot; an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection. This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver teapot has an inverted pear shaped form onto a circular spreading foot. The surface of the bachelor teapot is plain and unembellished. The upper rim of the body is ornamented with a band of cast and applied gadroon decoration all in a swirl design. This antique silver teapot is fitted with a hallmarked, domed flush hinged cover surmounted with an impressive and original, cast sterling silver flame style finial; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece. This exceptional example of antique teaware retains the original C scroll carved painted wood handle featuring a plain scrolling thumbpiece and a cast silver leaf decorated design to the upper socket, This impressive example of antique silverware has a cast silver swan necked spout embellished with fluted decoration and applied leaf motif to the lip. The ornamentation to the underside of the spout incorporates a vacant oval cartouche below a shell motif. The cast circular spreading foot is encircled with further gadroon decoration to the rim. Note: This maker may have been recorded in the missing 1739-1758 Smallworkers' Register or the 1758-1773 Largeworkers' Register, determining this maker's mark to be classed as 'unidentified' in all documents. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver teapot in the Arts and crafts style; part of our diverse teaware collection. This exceptional antique George V sterling silver teapot has a compressed oval rounded form to a spreading foot. The body of this 1930s silver teapot has a subtly planished finish, all in the Arts and Crafts style. The body of this impressive teapot is encompassed with a plain applied moulded girdle. This George V teapot is fitted with an impressive hinged cover featuring an applied Arts and Crafts style cross design to the upper plateau. The cover retains the original carved, faceted finial, ornamented with inset silver components. This teapot is fitted with the original swept carved handle, ornamented with ribbed decoration to the thumbpiece. The upper socket of the handle is further ornamented with a cross design, reflecting that to the cover. The teapot features a plain, planished swan necked spout, accented with applied moulded ornamentation to either side. This exceptional example of Arts and Crafts silver teaware is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. Condition This antique 1930s silver teapot is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.
