Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 4 Piece Tea Set London 1846 by William Hunter A stunning four piece tea set, English Hallmarked Sterling, London, dates 1846, by William Hunter, during the Victorian Period. William Hunter was well-known for his high- quality craft and skill in silverware throughout the silversmith industry in London in the 19th century period. This is a fine example of his work, It comprises of a tea pot, coffee pot, cream jug and sugar bowl, all featuring a unique design with chased floral decoration throughout, standing on acanthus detailed plinths. A delightful English Hallmarked Sterling Tea Set, by William Hunter, it would make a unique gift to keep or give, for special celebrations. Marked: English Hallmarked. Sterling. London. Maker: William Hunter. Dated 1846/1847. Sugar Bowl Measures: 8 1/4 inches (21cm) wide. 5 1/4 inches (13.3cm) tall. 5 1/4 inches (13.3cm) in diameter. Coffee Pot Measures: 10 inches (25.3cm) wide. 10 inches (25.3cm) tall. 5 inches (12.7cm) in diameter.. Cream Jug Measures: 6 3/4 inches (22.8cm) wide.5 1/4 inches (13.3cm) tall. 1/2 inches (11.5cm) in diameter. Tea Pot Measures: 10 1/2 inches (27.3cm) wide. 6 3/4 inches (17.2cm) tall.41/2 inches (11.5cm) in diameter. Excellent Condition. All four items are in excellent condition with no dings or dents and with no inscriptions or monograms. Overall Weight: They weigh a total of 2365 grams / 76.04 troy ounces. This is very heavy gauge and is the best of it's type.

A Top quality antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver four piece teaset comprising of a teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and jug particularly nice as it has been kept it in such superb condition and is immaculate throughout. This superb quality set is Comprising a coffee pot, teapot, milk jug and a twin handled sugar bowl. Each of compressed circular form with quarter-fluted base and a flat-chased acanthus band. Each with an everted beaded rim. The pots (1883) with a curved spout opposite a reeded strap handle with acanthus junctions and insulators. The lid surmounted by fluted knop finials with a rocaille calyx, additionally decorated with a band of guilloche. Each engraved with aFamily Crest . Milk jug and sugar bowl with gilt interior. Coffee pot height – 18.5 cm / 7.25 inches Weight – 2030 grams / 65.27 Troy ounces. They have matching hallmarks for London 1883 with the silversmiths marks for Martin Hall & Sons who were known for their top quality silver.
