Hallmarked in London in 1819 by Joseph Angell II, this handsome, Regency Period, Antique Sterling Silver Tea Set, comprises a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl, all standing on 4 ball feet, and featuring gadroon borders and fluted detailing. The set together weighs 30.6 troy ounces.
The teapot measures 5.5"(14cm) tall, by 10.75"(27.5cm) from handle to spout, by 5"(12.5cm) deep.
The cream jug measures 3.5"(9cm) tall, by 6"(15cm) from handle to lip, by 3.25"(8cm) deep.

An exceptional and impressive antique George IV English sterling silver Regency style three piece tea service/set; an addition to our silver teaware collection.
This antique George IV sterling silver three piece tea service consists of a teapot, cream jug / creamer, and sugar bowl.
Each piece of this impressive set has a rectangular rounded form onto four Regency style feet.
The plain body of each piece is encircled with a band of embossed and chased decorated stylised floral motifs on a matte background.
The teapot is fitted with a flush hinged, domed hallmarked cover; the flush hinge indicates the fine quality of this service.
The cover retains the original sterling silver rounded rectangular finial embellished with chased stylised rose and leaf decoration, encompassed with a bud border.
The teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl are fitted with C scroll handles, ornamented with applied chased acanthus leaf decorated thumbpieces.
Each component of this service is supported by four Regency style bracket style feet ornamented with a shaped claw foot, accented with scrolling leaf decoration and stylised floral motifs.
The cream jug and sugar bowl retain the original gilded interiors.

This exceptional antique George V sterling silver tea service has been modelled in the Queen Anne style.
The lower portion of each piece is embellished with embossed batwing decoration.
The upper portion of each piece of this silver tea set is plain and unembellished.
The teapot is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover embellished with further batwing decoration to the domed portion and is surmounted with the original carved painted wood and sterling silver fluted, cushion shaped finial.
The teapot retains the original angular carved painted wood handle with a plain scrolling thumbpiece.
The teapot is fitted with a swan necked spout ornamented with further embossed batwing decoration to the lower portion.
