Sterling Silver Tea Set Edinburgh, 1810 Additional information: Date : Hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1809 and the teapot in 1810 for James McKay Period : George III Origin : Edinburgh, United Kingdom Decoration : Stippled and chased floral and foliate design. The interior of the sucrier and creamer are both parcel gilt. Each piece has four applied ball feet. Stippled celtic knot design on the cover and edges of the teapot handle Size : H 17.5 cm, Handle to spout 29.4 cm Condition : Excellent, no dings Restoration : Professionally polished.
