4 Piece George III Sterling Silver Tea and Coffee Service London, 1809 Additional information: Date : Hallmarked in London For Thomas Wallis II Period : George III Origin : London England Decoration : Rounded rectangular form all set on four ball feet. The teapot and coffee pot with flush hinged domed covers and cast finials. Pie crust rims and gadrooned bases. The sucrier and creamer with parcel gilt interiors Size : Coffee pot height 20 cm ( 8 inches) and 28 cm ( 11 inches) from back of handle to tip of spout. The teapot height 14.3 cm ( 5 5/8 inches) and 28 cm ( 11 inches) from back of handle to tip of spout Condition : Excellent. All pieces fully and clearly hallmarked. The Teapot and coffee dates 1808 and the sucrier and cream jug 1809. All pieces as is almost invariably the case have old scratch weight marks on the bases . The sucrier has a 12 mm scratch on the internal base Restoration : None

    A Top quality antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver four piece teaset comprising of a teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and jug particularly nice as it has been kept it in such superb condition and is immaculate throughout. This superb quality set is Comprising a coffee pot, teapot, milk jug and a twin handled sugar bowl. Each of compressed circular form with quarter-fluted base and a flat-chased acanthus band. Each with an everted beaded rim. The pots (1883) with a curved spout opposite a reeded strap handle with acanthus junctions and insulators. The lid surmounted by fluted knop finials with a rocaille calyx, additionally decorated with a band of guilloche. Each engraved with aFamily Crest . Milk jug and sugar bowl with gilt interior. Coffee pot height – 18.5 cm / 7.25 inches Weight – 2030 grams / 65.27 Troy ounces.
