Silver Plated Sculptural Butler Motif Wine Bottle Holder
About the Item
This charming silver plated wine bottle holder originates from the United States during the 20th century. The intricate design showcases fine detailing and artistry, making it a delightful and functional addition to any wine enthusiast's collection. Ideal for both display and practical use, this wine bottle holder makes for a unique conversation piece and a thoughtful gift for wine lovers and collectors alike.
With ample grooved and sculptural detailing throughout the piece, giving it a lovely playful quality, the design and function meet at key moments, creating a highly functional bottle holder. The pants of the butler split down the middle, revealing an opening through which one can observe the amount of wine remaining. The base on which the bottle rests on the interior of the holder has a rectilinear piece that extends upwards, meeting with the handle, with a textured screw to attach both components and secure the bottle within the holder.
A lovely accessory, this piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modern and Contemporary interiors. In excellent vintage condition.
