This sculptural modernist gilded dish was realized in the United States circa 1980. It features an amorphic and asymmetrical circular form with raised sides and a dramatic stylized swordfish motif. The sail fish is represented with its fin extended and its mouth agape, apparently about to exit the water in a majestic leap.
