About the Item
Folk Art Church Model
We are proud to offer a wonderful example of a mid-20th Century folk-art church model. Built from scratch using various materials including Wood, Metal, Plaster, and fabric. Constructed in a miniature form with great proportions and detail. This example is mounted to a wooden handmade base, the model is crafted onto a wooden construction, Amazingly this models interior is filled with church decor including a full alter, church pews, stairs (leading up to a bell tower), a bell pulley rope, lights (not functioning as originally intended) and arched hallway. This model is a complete one-off, there is even a small trap door underneath its base which can be opened. It is quite simply a charming construction which shows a simple yet great craftsmanship quality across its exterior and interior.

Condition: This item is completely solid in structure and form, aged patina with weathering has taken place across all the surfaces, the cracked plaster and weathered wall surfaces and wood give this model its charm and decorative look. Please review all the photos provided as part of this advert.
