French 19th century Louis XVI st. Alabaster chandelier
About the Item
A very attractive and most elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. Alabaster chandelier. This most decorative circular three light chandelier has a palmette designed stepped bowl below the outer edge displaying finely carved Greek key designs. Secured by patinated Bronze mounts under the bowl are three knotted and twisted gilt ropes that connect to the tassel above. The top rope leads into a rounded Alabaster canopy that matches the chandelier body below.
