About the Item

Luminator is one of the first projects that Pietro Chiesa created for Fontana Arte, in 1933. This unique floor lamp incorporates a slender metallic stem that expands into a cone, enclosing the lighting component within. Resting on a circular base, this lamp gives an unparalleled sense of abstract simplicity and flawlessness, making it one of Pietro Chiesa's most remarkable designs. During its time, the Luminator was an innovative and pioneering design, and is widely recognized as the initial floor lamp in design history to provide indirect lighting. Scratches and wear can be spotted on the surfaces.
