About the Item

Exceptional and very stylish small brass floor lamp with two plates, three cattails and a cocoon lamp shade from the 1960s. The lamp consists of brass rods of different lengths, some bent and some straight. This lamp is made for illumination but also has a sculptural appearance. The combination of brass, the three wooden cattails and the cocoon lampshade harmonise perfectly with one another and give the lamp a vibrant and organic look. The lamp has gained patina over all the years – you can see it on the brass frame, the plates as well as on the top of the lampshade. This beautiful floor lamp is a very rare original piece and has already had a long life with its previous owner and is now ready to be passed on to a new home... Lovely patina with normal age-related signs of use. Beautiful design and fully functional. Very nice vintage condition & 100% original condition. 1 E27 socket. Deliverly without bulb. Design & manufacture: Europe, 1960s. Total height: 92 cm 40 cm in diameter This is an original piece and has lived a life before. Therefore it will show signs of wear and patina, which gives the lamp its unique and charming look. Works with 220V and 110V. Function of the lamp has been tested and classified as fully functional. As with any vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician.
