Harald Notini Chandelier in Brass and Marbled Glass, Böhlmarks, Sweden, 1927
Located in The Hague, NL
This striking four arm chandelier was designed by Harald Notini and produced by Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik in Sweden, circa 1927. This particular model numbered 6316 is a great example of the unique Swedish Grace style of this period. The striking design consists of four marbled glass shades with a slightly undulating, scalloped rim. The shades are attached to brass holders with a serrated shape, connected to the centre by brass arms in a beautiful curved shape. The sphere shaped centre of the fixture with serrated decorative details throughout, with a separate hanging sphere attached to the lowest part of the lamp. This hanging sphere can be easily removed if desired. The fixture is entirely executed in nickel plated brass which has developed a beautiful and natural patina over time. Wmf Art Nouveau Lamp Night Light
Located in NANTES, FR
Art Nouveau night light around 1900. Silver metal and glass cabochons. Attributed to WMF. Electrified and in very good condition Width: 17 cm Height: 28 cm Depth: 14,5 cm Weight: 1,3 Kg WMF was originally called Metallwarenfabrik Straub & Schweizer. In 1880, Metallwarenfabrik Straub & Schweizer merged with another German company and took the name of Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, then WMF acquired the Polish metalworks Plewkiewicz of Warsaw in 1886, which became a subsidiary of WMF around 1900. In 1900, WMF acquired Albert Köhler, a famous Austrian ironwork company. Then, in 1905, WMF acquired Orivit, a company known for its Jugendstil (German equivalent of Art Nouveau) pewter fabrications, followed a year later by the purchase of Kunstgewerbliche Metallwarenfabrik Orion, another German metal fabrication company. . During World War I, the WMF was responsible for producing weapons for the German military and had certified to the Allied Control Commission that the tools used to produce these weapons had been destroyed. However, after Hitler's call for rearmament, the company, then under the control of Hugo Debach, immediately resumed producing weapons. Debach died shortly thereafter. From 1940, WMF began to make increasing use of forced labor from Soviet POWs in surrounding camps, with these eventually accounting for a third of the company's workforce. The WMF also founded its own concentration camp in 1944 to detain and force over 900 Hungarian Jewish women...

Leaded Glass Floral Table Lamp by Lamb Bros., Napanee Indiana, ca. 1915
By Lamb Bros.
Located in Petaluma, CA
A very nice clean example of a leaded glass table lamp from the early part of the 20th century. The lamp was made by Lamb Bros. The ring on the top of the shade was done by Lamb Bros. The heat cap and finial are also the work of Lamb Bros. It's an antique leaded glass made famous by Tiffany. The floral shade is colorful and has just a couple, (I see just 2) that are closed and secure, not uncommon on these lamps. The condition is actually amazing as it has no broken tiles. The base is very art nouveau and a particularly nice example. A really nice antique lamp...
