About the Item

1960s Sergio Mazza 'Gamma' sconce for Artemide. Executed in nickeled brass and pressed opaline glass, Italy. Price is per item. 4 lamps available. Born in Italy in 1931, Sergio Mazza created numerous iconic designs for Artemide throughout the 1960s, from a range of lighting to fiberglass molded seating and other home furnishings which due to their limited production runs have become highly collectible with their clean lines and intuitive utility. Professionally rewired for US electrical and accommodates one standard medium base (E26) 75 watt max LED bulbs (lower with incandescent). Please note this lamp retains it's original unmodified Italian backplate (3 7/16" diameter). Not UL listed, but possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Note only one representative example shown in photos. Wear and patina vary some from lamp to lamp.
