About the Item

Handmade and hand decorated Italian Mid-Century Modern textured chamotte ceramic table lamp. Designed by Aldo Londi for the collection "Rimini Blu" in 1959 and manufactured by Bitossi Ceramiche. Warm bone white glazed cylinder shape with lower band of light and dark blues highlighting incised geometric circular decorations. Model B4/35. Rewired with silver colored cord. Switch on fitting for E27 bulb. One chip under base - barely visible when standing (see photos). Signed under base. Italy, 1959.
