About the Item
Dreamlike vanity set, consisting of a mirror, two perfume bottles and a jewelry box, made around 1890 in Austria.
This set consists of a fire-gilt floral metal holder with a faceted table mirror. Directly below is a jewelry box with original silk upholstery. The jewelry box is made of faceted glass. On the sides are two holders, also made of fire-gilt metal with small leaves and tendrils, holding two perfume bottles. These are red, decorated with enamel painting, and were probably made in Bohemia. Both bottle stoppers are original.
Measurements approx.: height 10,63 in - 27 cm, width 9,45 in - 24 cm, depth 5,12 in - 13 cm
