Know what’s better than an exceptional oak end table with a cane and glass top? two of them!!!! That’s right, this is a wonderful pair of oak modern to post-modern end tables with caning under the glass insert tops. They have recessed pedestal bases, horizontal trim strips around their center, and stunning wood grain! We have been told they are in the style of Lou Hodges, but we haven’t found any proof to substantiate that claim. No matter, they are going to be beautiful in your living room beside your sofa or loveseat, or maybe in your bedroom as nightstands. Awesome vintage Mid-Century Modern walnut & cane flip top storage twin headboards, a pair. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the interior storage space has been painted black to finish it off. But even though the tops have been sanded, there are still some stubborn stains on both tops. Serious question… What are TWINS’ favorite fruit??? PEARS!!! Get it!! LOL… Ok, well, This is a fabulous “pair” of “twin” sized headboards comprised of walnut frames, rectangular natural cane insets, and they have a flip top feature which reveals a totally open interior storage space!!! I mean… That’s a MASSIVE amount of storage!!! Not to mention… a GREAT hiding place!! HaHa!! Just kidding… don’t do that!! The interior of the storage space has been painted black and they are lined with natural cedar… no moths allowed!! We believe this duo was custom made and they are ready to grace your home with their Mid-Century Modern MAGNIFICENCE!!!
