Gorgeous vintage French Provincial Renaissance style king sized headboard with antiqued powder blue ceruse factory finish & heavy carved off-white trim details including leaves, vines, & floral elements, & a center cutout with ruched fabric attached in back by 2 brass rods. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, no outstanding flaws found, just normal light age wear. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. Yes… that’s YOU!!! This is an absolutely GORGEOUS king sized headboard bearing a beautiful all-over antiqued powder blue ceruse factory finish. The tag stapled on the back is to John F. Lawhon Furniture from Glen Traditionals Inc. of Glenrock, PA. We’re here to tell you, it’s a vision to behold!! The fabulous wood grain peeks through the cerused finish & it is embellished with cerused off-white heavily carved trim details including leaves, vines, & floral elements. Topped with a stunning center leaf-like motif. It is phenomenal!!! And this headboard has a unique feature! Right now, it has a ruched piece of fabric in the center cut-out however, the options for this space are as endless as your imagination!! We have also photographed it with nothing in the space which also looks wonderful… but you could do SO MANY THINGS here!! Add a mirror, a hand painted scene or piece of art, or LITERALLY any fabric you like. It gathers easily in the back with 2 little brass curtain rods or can be completely removed… so ANYTHING GOES!! To me, this headboard looks like it jumped right out of a scene from the movie “Beauty & the Beast!!” Incredible!! Wouldn’t it be a wonderful addition to a “princess,” Sleeping Beauty, or Cinderella themed bedroom? We certainly think so!! But options definitely don’t stop there! Although it would be WONDERFUL as a bed for a “princess” themed bedroom it would also be BEAUTIFUL blended with Hollywood Regency décor! All you need is a king-sized mattress and a Hollywood frame OR if you don’t mind the opinion of my mom, who is a FABULOUS retired interior designer… She would have a hanging mechanism or wall cleat made so that you can attach it to the wall and lift it a little higher, use a platform rather than a Hollywood frame, and toss out the box springs as mattresses today are much taller than they used to be. Antique Victorian Walnut and Burl Walnut Tall Lincoln Style Full Size Bed

Gorgeous antique Victorian tall Lincoln style full size bed in solid walnut and walnut burl with footboard and side rails. It is in wonderful original vintage condition. That does not mean it is without beautiful age patina of marks and distressing from over 100 years of use. The very top of the carved crown on the headboard had cracked and broken away and been lost over the years. But one of our staff artisans has hand carved a replacement. It is spectacular. There is also some new bracing to the back of the headboard to help with stability. Please see photos, circa mid-late 19th century. When I was a teenager this high Victorian style of bed is what my mom (a very talented interior designer) put in my bedroom (previously I had a white and pink frilly canopy bed my dad made me) and it remained in her home long after I left. In my room it was paired with the matching Victorian dresser and washstand as nightstand. Beautiful. Fast forward a few years and I installed that very same high Victorian walnut bed in my 8-year-old only granddaughter’s bedroom. But this time I paired it with Industrial stainless-steel vintage hospital nightstands...
