Large Antique Church Statue Mary of Lourdes
About the Item
This beautiful sculpture is a true masterpiece from the 19th century, featuring Mary of Lourdes in all her glory. Crafted with precision and care, it is a must-have for any art collector or enthusiast. The sculpture is a true representation of the historic period of 1850-1900, and reflects the religious theme with intricate carvings that are guaranteed to impress.
The statue is made from textured plaster and is a large size measuring 160cm in height, 50cm in length and 30cm in width. It is an original piece from a church in France, handmade with love. This sculpture is a single piece and is perfect for display in any room of the house or commercial space.
The statue is in the original condition, and un restored. The piece has had several repairs of the years, please see all images and videos and ask for further information on the condition if required.
Our Lady of Lourdes is a title of the Virgin Mary. She is venerated under this title by the Roman Catholic Church due to her apparitions that occurred in Lourdes, France
