This original vintage Bauhaus style umbrella stand was produced in the 1950s in France. The bottom dipping base is made of cast iron, the upright standing elements and the handle at the top are made of brass. The top surrounding element is covered by a black plastic coating. Straight forward and minimalistic design of the Bauhaus design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The design is reminiscent with the design of Mategot, Hagenauer, Auböck etc...
