This original vintage Bauhaus style umbrella stand was produced in the 1950s in Austria. It is made of solid metal with brass applications at the top and upright stand, the heavy metal base element is made of cast iron. The bottom is marked with GES. GESCH (design is copyright reserved). Straightforward and minimalistic design of the Bauhaus design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The design is reminiscent with the design of Hagenauer etc.
