A Shirvan rug from the East Caucasus, dated 1308AH/1892AD in the top border, measuring 5' 6" x 3' 9". This rug features an overall pattern of stylized floral motifs on an indigo field, executed entirely in natural vegetal dyes. In excellent overall condition.
