Located in the northeast near the Caspian Sea, this area is known for producing rugs with medium-density, low piles on solid foundations. Karagashli is a small town in the northern part of this region, and is known for producing rugs with designs having large slanting palmettes on indigo fields often flanked by ivory star-like flowers. 7' 3" x 5' 2".
