Antique Fette Chinese Rug with Light Brown Tone on Tone Colors

About the Item

Fette carpets are, as here, usually tone-on-tone, with dense medallions and borders. Often, they show black accents to better organize the ebullient floral and leaf density. The border here is even more thick with lotus palmettes, surging foliage and innumerable smaller blossoms. Buff-light brown field. Plain coral outer surround. The perfect boudoir carpet. Moderate weave, good contour cutting, good condition. Peking, Fette Factory, Northeastern China Rug Size 8x9'10
