This antique Khotan rug has a shaded raspberry-red field with scattered angular floral stems and flowerheads around a pair of roundels with a central apricot lozenge and a golden-yellow angular serrated vine surrounded by a broad light-blue band with apricot floral stems, the spandrels similar, in a border of cloud-motifs issuing diagonal rows of polychrome zig-zag stripes between light blue inner linked floral vine and sandy-yellow key-pattern stripes, outer broad interlocking cloud-motif stripe.
