Traditional Antique Hand-Knotted Khotan Rug

About the Item

This antique Khotan rug has shaded light-plum field with a central shaded charcoal-black medallion with a circular roundels above and below each roundel with a band of pomegranates around a central lozenge with a leaf surround, the field scattered with polychrome flowerheads, flowering stems and a vase arrangement at each end, the aubergine-purple key-pattern border between sandy-yellow part lozenge and S-motif stripes, and a sandy-yellow cloud-motif stripe, plain outer aubergine-purple stripe.
