Antique Turkish rug handwoven from the finest sheep’s wool and colored with all-natural vegetable dyes that are safe for humans and pets. It’s a traditional Sivas design featuring all-over rows of floral details in beige, gray, and navy over a red field. It’s a stunning piece to get for modern, contemporary and rustic spaces. It has a dimension of 6’7” x 9’7” which is perfect for living and dining areas.
Sivas is the capital city of a province in Central Turkey bearing the same name. Unlike other Turkish rug production towns, Sivas weavers were renowned for crafting Persian designs due to the high demand from European countries. For this reason many rugs from this region reflect Persian styles and patterns that are of the highest quality. Sivas rugs are also considered the best choice for upscale and elegant interiors.
