Antique handmade Persian area rug from high-quality sheep’s wool and colored with eco-friendly vegetable dyes that are proven safe for humans and pets alike. It’s a classic Sultanabad design showcasing a regal ivory field with prominent Herati flower heads all over. It’s a lovely piece that should be featured in modern and contemporary spaces. The Sultanabad name hails from the city of Arak in Iran which was originally named ‘Soltan Abad’ that eventually became Sultanabad. It was founded in the early 1800s and became one of the most important rug production centers in the world.
