This flat-woven Klim is handmade in Sivas region of Turkey.Flat-woven rugs are hand-loomed textiles with flat surface-without pile-which present a relatively two dimensional surface.Their basic structure is a plain weave which results when warp and weft elements are interlaced on a loom. This rare Sivas Klim with beautiful pattern and colours,is made with high quality wool and all organic dyes looks wonderful in a contemporary setting that gives residence a flattering richness without the formality of an oriental rug. Small masterful restoration found on this Klim and otherwise is in mint condition. Measures: 79”x52”.
