Antique Caucasian Shirvan Kilim circa 1920

About the Item

A beautiful antique Caucasian flat weave Kilim attributed to the town of Shirvan in the caucasus mountain featuring a soft salmon/orange field decorated by three hexagon shaped medallions one in blue and two in beige colors, surrounded by forteen smaller diamond shaped medallions in various colors and framed by a "running water'' border , producing a stunning effect. The wool used for this kilim is high quality and all dyes are absolutely organic.The kilim is in excellent condition without any restorations and all sides and ends are original.
