Antique Caucasian Shirvan Rug circa 1900
About the Item
This rug is hand woven in the Shirvan district of Caucasus mountains region. The tiny very rare Shirvan is a fine example of the very best weaving of the shirvan region. The intricate detail and totemic symbols combine with the superb vegetable dues to provide a stunning balance. Measures: 33” x 31”.
No restorations were found in this rug and otherwise is in mint condition. This rug is a great piece that could be used as a table cover or simply a hanging piece as a woven art.
