About the Item

Contemporary Turkish rug handwoven from the finest sheep’s wool and colored with all-natural vegetable dyes that are safe for humans and pets. It’s a traditional Agra weaving design featuring botanical patterns in black and gold on a plush red field. It’s an excellent piece to get for modern, contemporary and rustic spaces. It has a dimension of 8’ x 10’3” which is ideal for living rooms and dining areas. The Indian city of Agra is home to the world-famous Taj Mahal and a renowned rug production center that flourished during the reign of the great Mughal Empire in the 1500s. Heavily influenced by Persian weaving, Agra rugs placed India in the map of fine rugs and remain among the most valuable designs today.
