Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug Runner

About the Item

:: Oversized repeating gul concentric medallions with beautiful abrashes across. Wrapped in a pomegranate stylized top view germinating plant main border. Many nuanced checkered interior fills adding to the dynamic. Colors and shades include: Powder blue, pale dusty rose, beige, sand, ivory, navy blue, and more. Condition notes: Even, short pile height across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. As this carpet has been sun faded, only the tips of the wool are oxidized to the softened pastel shades. The roots bear deeper tones, which may expose over time. Three or four minor areas of varying pile height which translate to the top of the main field as slight inflections in coloration, as seen in photos. Priced accordingly. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug runner made in Turkey circa 1980's vintage. Size measures 4'1" x 8'.
