The “Senior” armchair, crafted by Jorge Zalszupin and manufactured by l’Atelier in the 1960s, features an inverted T-shaped chrome steel frame that supports both the seat and backrest. The generous width of the seat combined with the gently curved backrest provides exceptional comfort. He moved to Brazil in the 1950s and quickly became known for his innovative furniture designs that blended elements of European modernism with Brazilian warmth and tropical materials. Finally, Zalszupin's influence on the Brazilian design community has helped to shape a unique design aesthetic that continues to inspire designers around the world. Zalszupin's work was characterized by clean lines, bold shapes, and a playful use of color, and he created many iconic pieces of furniture that are still popular today. In addition, his furniture is known for its high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, which results in pieces that are both beautiful and durable.  Since the launch of our gallery in late 2017, we have exported over 1200 items to buyers in 21 countries located in all four corners of the world from Europe and North America to Asia and Australia. In the United-States alone, we have ensured the delivery of over 150 pieces of all sizes (from massive dining tables to small decorative objects) in 23 states. We take the utmost attention to our packaging by building robust made to measure boxes in our atelier with the aim of providing safe and cost-effective delivery prices for every client.
