About the Item

An exceptional and extremely unique pair of Russian mid 19th century neo-classical st. Mahogany and giltwood armchairs. Each chair is raised by elegantly curved legs with beautiful giltwood foliate accents at each corner. The arms each display superb scrolled patterns with additional richly carved giltwood foliate designs. The pierced back support displays a rounded top showcasing the beautiful wood grain decorated with additional giltwood accents and lovely carved scrolls.
