Stunning Italian Credenza with Fontana Arte Glass Elements, 1950s

About the Item

Beautifully crafted credenza in Italian walnut with vertical glass slab supports and glass handles by Fontana Arte on the bookmatched burl doors with brass accents, Italian 1950s. There is antique mirror trim around the doors. This piece is absolutely stunning and would be a show stopper in any interior. Reference: Fontana Arte: Gio Ponti, Pietro Chiesa, Max Ingrand by Franco Deboni and published by Allemandi & C. in 2012, there is glass shown with similar attributed to the pulls shown in plate 314, which states the light "made of two thick sheets of profiled and cut glass, with satin finish central parts, c.1960.".
