About the Item

This is an antique Gustav Stickley drop front desk from the early 1900s in good condition with a great selection of quarter-sawn oak. This desk comes with double thru tenon construction (as pictured) on top and on bottom on EACH side of the desk. Also, this model often has had veneer problem on sides, but NOT this desk. The finish on this item is perfect! THE DESK IS STURDY and Strong and ready to use in your home or office. You do NOT see many like it. THE LOCALL WE SELLING FOR ARE MOVING TO CA and ALL MUST GO MUST SELL MUST SELL We deal with original GUSTAV STICKLEY items (circa early 1900s) since early 1970s in NY, and for the last 44 yrs we have had a RETAIL shop on Rt 15 in Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania. In the 1970s a man purchased the brand name "L&JG STICKLEY" from Leo Stickley's widow before she passed. They now make mission furniture IN THE STYLE of Gustav Stickley, but it is NOT original Stickley. We purchase most of our Gustav Stickley furniture from well know collections in NY and in Philadelphia, PA. We may pay a little more but get the BEST. SIZE 46” H, 36” W, 15” D
